The DTT1SS is a marine-grade Type 316 stainless steel tension tie designed for use in seaside and harsh environments. It provides reliable lateral-load connections that offer a safe, code-compliant solution to secure decks to homes.

The DTT1SS design provides secure deck attachments without requiring access to interior floor joists. This makes installation simple. Other tension ties are much more intrusive, requiring the installer to make connections from inside the house. In addition to ease of installation, the DTT1SS is also code-compliant. This deck tension tie design meets International Residential Code (IRC) standards for four 750lb deck-to-house lateral load connections per IRC R507.9.2(2).
