Annular Ring Thread: Use this shank style for maximum resistance to withdrawal in cross grain nailing. Annular ring shank nails are especially effective in preventing cupping and nail head popping in siding and decking installations. Not recommended for high shear, lateral or racking loads or end -grain nailing.
