  • Made in the USA with Type 316 (low Carbon) Stainless Steel
  • 316 stainless provides the highest salt water corrosion resistance of the 316 types. Appropriate for marine and seaside applications and in other severe conditions where corrosion is a concern 
  • Must be installed with specified stainless steel fasteners
  • Patented double shear nailing distributes the load through 2 points on each joist for greater strength. The nails slant through the joist into the header, not only fastening the hanger but also helping to carry some of the load.
  • The hanger design allows for the use of fewer fasteners for faster installation
  • Install with specified stainless steel fasteners
  • Full length 3” or 3-1/2” hand drive nails (or 2-1/2” collated connector nails) are always required for the patented double sheer (angled) nailing. Under some conditions alternative sized fasteners may be substituted but at a potentially significant load reduction. See nail substitution chart.
  • LUS series hangers are not intended for welded applications
  • Caution! - Do not bend or remove tabs or alter hanger in any way
