20-22° Plastic Strip Nails, 1000pc, 316 Stainless Steel

I really appreciated the guidance and recommendations from the good folks at Manasquan. The Type 304 Stainless 3.5 inch long plastic strip nails work great and perform just as described. We are in a coastal environment and framing with treated lumber and SS fasteners is the only way to go. We will be using 2 inch Type 316 for the outside cement board and I'll review them afterward as well. Shipping was fast too! Thanks Manasquan!

I recommend the 316 stainless steel in any salt environment. In salt area it is hard to believe but 304 stainless will suffer from corrosion. Only advice is wear safety glasses. The plastic strip breaks and flies out in tiny pieces when you fire the nail. So, during the fire, you must have to wear safety glasses to protect yourself. There will also be small parts of the plane littering the work area, which may require cleaning.

I am a homeowner not a contractor but since I live close to seawater I will only use Stainless Steel fasteners for all my weekend projects. I own two Bostitch NR88RH-2MCN Framing Nailers and these 316 Stainless Steel nails work perfectly in my Nail Guns, no jams or misfires, I am beyond satisfied with the product, as well as the customer service.
