Flat Head Deck-Drive™ DWP Wood Screws, 305 Stainless Steel

Not sure if I am rating the products or the service. My first order from Manasqaun was for 2 boxes of 350 ea of Simpson Strong Tie Stainless Steel 305 2 1/2" deck screws. What I received was a single box of 350. I contacted them and they promptly sent the second box, no problem. However when I went to start using the screws on my deck I noticed that the first box they sent was a box of stainless 316 screws and the second box was stainless 305. I went back to check to see exactly which one I ordered and discovered that I ordered stainless 305. There is no problem using stainless 316. It is a more highly corrosion resistant form of stainless and is used in marine environments. I live in NW Oregon so we get a boatload of rain which is why I ordered the stainless, but it is not a marine environment. The stainless 316 screws are somewhat more expensive. Service was great. I highly recommend Manasqaun.
