Stainless steel hex cap screws feature a smooth body with threading on the end. They’re typically installed using two washers and a hex nut for secure fastening.
Available Lengths
They come in several standard thread lengths, including:
- For lengths up to 6" the threaded portion is → twice the diameter of the shank + 1/4".
- For lengths over 6" the threaded portion is→ twice the diameter + 1/2".
- Some hex caps may include an extra 1/4"–1/2" of threading, depending on the manufacturer. Please call us for exact measurements.
- We offer diameters: up to 5/8". Larger sizes available upon request.
