Driver Bits - Square and Star Recess

Important: If the screws are to be driven by a screw gun, be sure the bit is securely seated in the recess of the screw. Start slowly and gradually increase speed until the head is driven flush. High driving speed increase the chance of stripping the recess. If the tool has an adjustable torque collar, use a piece of scrap lumber to determine the proper setting needed to drive the head flush with the surface. This will prevent twisting off the screw head.
