 BC4SS Post Cap/Base
  • Type 316 Stainless Steel for the ultimate in corrosion resistance
  • 18 Gauge
  • Simpson Strog-Tie®  BC4SS allows for the connection of (2) 2Xs to a 4X post
  • The BC series offers dual purpose post cap/base for light cap or base connections
  • Supplied with 3-1/2" x 8 gauge type 316 stainless steel nails
  • Caution Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations such as fences or unbraced carports
  • Note Large pilot holes are for manufacturing purposes only. DO NOT use for installation of bolts!!
  • Approved for use in ACQ lumber
